Dakoda's Story...
Notes: 06-06-06 Owner Surrender, we have made a commitment to take this 7 - 8 mo. old young dog. He will be H/W tested, neutered, vaccinated including Rabies on 06-09-05. We will pick him up from Doc Anstaett 06-10-05 and evaluate for 2 weeks. We are taking inquiries during this time.
Note 06-10-05 Dakoda weighs 44.6 lbs. He has been fully vaccinated including Rabies and now neutered. He is about 18" tall at the shoulder.
We were told that the mother is yellow lab, the father is unknown. Guesses range from great pyrenees to basset for the father. Your guess is as good as the high kill shelter where he initially came from.
Note 06-17-05 Dakoda has been microchipped. He is still a puppy, boundless energy, and would benefit from leadership walking. He rides very well in a crate. .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakoda, a Cole Camp Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cole Camp, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cole Camp.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cole Camp already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cole Camp breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cole Camp paves the way for another one to be saved.
