My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Seneca" is a medium-haired orange and white older kitten (approximately 8-9 months old) who was found presumably abandoned, and emaciated, at Putah Creek in Davis. She was very obviously not a feral cat by how extremely affectionate she was (and still is)! "Seneca" had a small left eye when she was found and was seen by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. It is unclear as to whether she was born with her eye this way or whether the eye sustained an injury, but it was decided that her eye should be surgically removed to prevent it from causing her problems in the future. Her current photos are approximately 1.5 weeks post-surgery (her surgery was performed on 12/9/09). "Seneca" gets along fabulously with other cats but is frightened of dogs. She is already spayed, tested for FeLV, FIV and heartworm disease, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $85. You may contact her foster mom, Beth, directly at bakissack@ucdavis.edu for more information or to arrange to meet this special girl!
