My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there- I'm DEXTER! I'm as adorable as can be...and I love affection! I am neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLv (feline leukemia) and I am housetrained/litterbox trained. In addition, I have been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. Gosh, I'm a lucky guy to have been rescued by the good people at Advocates 4 Animals!

You see, my life started out pretty tough. I was owned and when my owner moved away, she left us behind at her apartment- outside. I had never been outside and it was very scary. I like the indoor life! I was starving...and did I mention scared? Some people at the apartment found where my person moved too and too us to her. Well, she drove us back to the apartment and threw us out the car window.... So- thankfully we were rescued by the good people at Advocates 4 Animals! I can't tell you how happy we were to be safe and indoors again! I am happy, healthy and cute as can be...I am approx. 13 months old as of Jan. 2010. I am just searching for a fur-ever home to call my very own now! I'm laid back, friendly and affectionate! (If you're looking to adopt 2 bonded cats- consider adopting my brother DUSTIN and me together- the bonded cat adoption fee is just $100 total!...but we are happy to be adopted together or seperate...our goal is just to find a great home!)
