My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Burt. I am about 8 months of age and about 55 pounds. I am a very sweet and outgoing boy. My brother is Ernie. We came to a shelter as strays and our owners never claimed us but we think that was the best thing that ever happened to us. You see, when the people at the shelter found us we were both dragging chains and our chains were welded tight to our collars. My brother Ernie's collar was already cutting right into his neck (see Ernie's profile for more information on him). We were both treated at the shelter and are completely recovered. We are also putting on some much needed weight. We love EVERYONE! We get along great with other dogs and love people. I am the more outgoing between my brother and I but I am teaching him to trust people again.
