Border Collie Dog for adoption in Carrollton, Texas - Roy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Roy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Roy's Story...
Roy is a 2-year-old, purebred Border Collie (with really cute, fuzzy ears - we had to throw that in). Roy is a brilliant dog with tons of potential. This is a dog who needs an environment where he can have a hobby or a job. He would be an ideal agility dog. Come tax season, Roy will even file your income taxes...okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but you get the point: VERY SMART dog! Roy would love to have another very active dog in his new home to play with. Roy loves to run, fetch, run, fetch and then run some more. He is also quite fond of his groceries. Since he is a herder, Roy would not be a good match for a home with young kids. He would be fine with teens and adults, though. Roy is neutered, fully vaccinated and is on heartworm preventative. He is very healthy. If you have a very active lifestyle that you would like to include a doggie buddy in, please complete our on-line application today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roy, a Carrollton Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
