Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scamp, born (we think) in November 2004, is fully socialized and well behaved - he is deaf, but very smart! He's already learned to come by hand signal. Scamp is a very loving pup, and is currently being fostered on a ranch with cows, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, other cats & dogs - he loves everybody! We think he may have some border collie and/or Australian shepherd in him, with black lab and maybe some mountain dog, and who knows what else - he's a true "hodgepodge" dog! We are hoping for a home with an experienced dog owner, who will have the time and patience needed to train a deaf pup. At least he is out of the early "chew-monster" puppy phase! Age-appropriate shots and neuter are included in his adoption donation (minimum $50; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! If you find the pet of your dreams, Forget-Me-Not will find a way to connect you! There may be a small transport fee, usually ranging from $10 - $40, for delivery outside our immediate area. Check www.forgetmenotshelter.org for more photos of this pet, and to find out about our next scheduled transports to Seattle, Spokane and other points.
