My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JJ came to us a few months ago. He is a good boy and is allowed to be loose in the house all the time. He does not crate fight with the other dogs. He does not like to be crated but will tolerate it for a period of time. He will try to get into the garbage on occasion and has a tendency to lick the front of the oven. :-) He is good with the cats and loves to lie on the bed. He has been fine with all the female dogs here but can occasionally have issues when first meeting dogs. He needs to learn how to walk well on lead as he will pull. JJ is 5 years old, neutered and up tp date on vaccinations. He is negative for heartworm and Lyme disease. He does have a slight overbite and that coupled with his loose lower lips makes him a drooler. His sweet, gentle nature and loving personality more than make up for his drooling though! He is good for grooming but does not like it if you pull on a mat. He was fine with getting his nails trimmed at the Vet. He has settled in nicely here and will need to be given some time to adjust when going to his new home. He was very stressed when he first came to us. I do not think he was exposed to many new and diverse situations while with his former owners and tends to get a bit stressed when out of his comfort zone. He does like to ride in the car however and is always ready to go for a ride. He's a big boy at about 120 lbs.
