My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chessie is probably the dream cat of many people. He will great you at the door, follow you around, hop up to snuggle beside you, snuggle with you in bed, never scratch the rugs or furniture and never wave hi to you from the edge of your favorite 7 foot china cabinet. He is, however, shy and he will need about a week or two to do (or not do) all these wonderful things. Being a couch potato kitty, he would love to have a human friend to curl up next to for an energetic round of watching TV and purring.

His foster mom says "He has a wonderful noisy purr that rattles his whole being and he loves to climb in my lap, put his head on my shoulder and do his motorboat purr." He lives with other cats and does not mind kittens or other adult cats, but he would not be comfortable with an aggressive companion.
