Bugsy's Story...
COURTESY POSTING:
Bugsy was rescued by his current foster mom from a feral colony and has been lucky enough to live with her since August when he was approximately 2 months old. Since becoming an indoor kitty, Bugsy has grown into a gorgeous DLH with a sheen to his soft fur which compliments his golden eyes. A bit petite in stature, this 10 month old boy weighs only 9 pounds.

Due to his feral beginnings, Bugsy is timid when confronted with a new environment, but given time to check things out on his own terms, he becomes a very loveable and social kitty and will make someone a great companion when given the opportunity.

Since his rescue, Bugsy has tested negative for both FeLuke and FIV, has been neutered, and is up to date on his Rabies and distemper shots. If your home would be the ideal world for this little boy, please contact Devora at devoraw@juno.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bugsy, a Laurel Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Laurel, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Laurel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laurel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laurel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laurel paves the way for another one to be saved.
