Kyra's Story...
*this is a complimentary posting*
I adopted a Siberian Husky from my local animal shelter in March because she was about to be to sleep. She had been picked up several times before and finally the previous owner stopped coming and getting her from the pound. The reason is that she is an escape artist! She can get out of any leash or harness if she is tied up even for a minute. She also can climb the chain link fence that is in my back yard. She is about 2 years old, house trained, gets along good with other dogs, hates cats, she needs a home that has a privacy fence cause she can climb chain link. She needs to be put in a crate when left alone because she likes to eat pillows for some reason. She is very playful she fetches and likes to be chased around the back yard. She has not been spayed yet. That is all the info that I can think of at this time. Whoever wishes to adopt her must know about siberian huskies!
She is a beautiful dog that is great with children and other dogs. She wood do best in a home that has a large back yard with a privacy fence She is potty trained and does well as long is she is let out and not left alone for long periods of time. The adoption fee is 75 dollars and that includes a large crate for her. Please contact me if you would like to adopt Kyra!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyra, a Dallas & Fort Worth Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Dallas & Fort Worth, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Dallas & Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas & Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas & Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas & Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
