Izzy is Adopted
Izzy (Isabelle) is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio, and her adoption donation is $300
Izzy (Isabelle) is a 3 yr old chocolate colored, female cocker spaniel.
She came to us as an owner surrender, where she was not doing well with the active toddler in the home.
She has settled in to foster care very nicely, and is a super sweet girl.
She is a tiny petite cocker weighing only 17 lbs.
Izzy gets along with the other dogs in foster care, and is already housetrained.
She is a very affectionate cocker, and loves to cuddle on your lap, and will follow her foster everywhere.
She does not like to share her attention with the other dogs, and at times will grumble, when they get too close when she is getting attention, however, she responds quickly to correction.
She knows basic commands, and is just a joy to have as a foster dog.
Izzy does have typical cocker skin/food allergies, and needs to be fed a wholistic dogfood, she does not do well on commercial pet foods, as we believe she has an allergy to the wheat/corn/grains in most foods.
She is currently being fed Prarie (by natures variety) which is wheat/soy/corn free.
Izzy will make a wonderful pet/companion to an adult only home, or with a family that has older children (over 12yrs).
Izzy is already spayed, and will be heartworm tested, and brought up to date on vaccines shortly.

We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes - Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt.

Pet needs to be picked up at foster home.
In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
