My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tilly is a tiny red Min Pin. She is just over 2 years old and weighs just 8 lbs. She is a snuggly little girl that loves to be cuddled. Being a young dog she is still very playful and would be fine in a home with respectful children.

Despite her size Tilly is a very hardy little dog. She is active in the home and can do well with a small yard to play in. She enjoys playing with toys especially chasing balls and would enjoy activities with older children. Tilly knows her basic commands but needs more work on being socialized so she can be more confident and relaxed when meeting new people. Currently she has a need to express herself and is very loyal to the people she knows.

A true little companion, Tilly is a lively, alert and loyal girl. She would do well with additional training not only to hone her skills but to stimulate her mind. She loves to get outside and enjoys going to the dog park and playing with other dogs. She would definitely need a coat for the winter.

A fun-loving extrovert, Tilly will excel in a situation where she is a member of the family but she must be taught that she is a dog and not a little person lest she develop “small dog syndrome”. Intelligent, loyal, affectionate and loving, in the right home Tilly will excel as a companion and/or family pet. Min Pins are easy to train as they are always wanting to do the right thing but they do demand to be a part of your life and suffer if left for long hours on their on. They are fine left for a normal working day but need very much to interact and have time each day to spend with their people. Very much a big dog in a small dog’s body, Tilly needs an owner that is confident, relaxed and able to give her as much love as she gives in return.
