Santa Claus's Story...
Meet Santa Claus!! He and his brother Kris Kringle were rescued today 12-15 from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois. They are about 4 months old and about 30 pounds each. Santa Claus is very outgoing and playful. Kris Kringle is still a little unsure and should go to a patient owner willing to give him time to warm up. It would be even better if they could be adopted together. These sweeties are being fostered in Plainfield. Their adoption fee is $250 each or $400 if they are adopted together. Their adoption fee covers their neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming and fecal test. Please send an email to thedoglover@att.net to schedule an appointment to meet and adopt them. We do not adopt out puppies as a gift so don't ask about adopting them as presents for someone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Santa Claus, a Plainfield Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
