Canyon's Story...
Canyon is a 12 month old boy that needs some tlc.Canyon was dumped by his owner in a High Kill Gassing Shelter where he would of suffocated for 45 minutes. But luckily we stepped in to save this boy. Canyon is a loving boy that needs a owner with experience. He knows some of his basic commands but not all of them. He pretty much keeps to himself, and loves to lounge and chew on his toys or bones. When he is outside in the yard,he just lounges around. He is housebroken and no food aggression. He needs some help with the walking on a leash because he wants to pull but with a good lead he calms down. He needs room to run and lots of exercise.I will say that he can knock little kids over from time to time when he is excited. He is crate trained. If you can, give this boy a chance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Canyon, a Virginia Beach Dogo Argentino dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dogo Argentino for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Dogo Argentino dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dogo Argentino breeders who help with Dogo Argentino rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
