Fritz's Story...
"Fritz" is a stunning looking dog! He has a rich brown and black coat and a gorgeous head and face! And look at those ears!! He loves people and responds very well while on a leash. He's young and alert, seems almost intuitive to his people. He's smart and will make a loving companion to some lucky family. He's on the thin side, apparently his former owner neglected him when it came to providing a sufficient amount of food.. He gets along with other dogs and, just due to his size, will do best with older children. He came in with "Bella", another shepherd. Come in and play with "Fritz" in our doggie play yard and you'll see what a sweet dog he is
!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a El Cajon German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
