Isabella von Carlsbad's Story...
Isabella von Carlsbad is a lovely 12 month old German Shepherd. She is not only beautiful but she is well mannered and calm. She is the type of dog that our adoption coordinators love to recommend because she could work for almost any situation. She is great with other dogs and makes doggy friends quickly. Isabella fell in love with one of our male volunteers and was melting into his arms if she wasn’t rolling for a tummy rub. Everyone who saw them had to laugh! She was ready to go home with him. Isabella is also good with women; she is just a loving girl. We took her to visit some cats and she could have cared less, but we will always test again if she is going to a family with cats. Isabella knows the sit command and she knows how to walk well on a leash. We don’t know her story, but she was well cared for and loved, we can tell that much. Don’t miss out on this special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella von Carlsbad, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
