My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there - I'm Jesse. I'm one of the first residents here at the shelter so I help my new brothers and sisters get settled. I don't have to be in a crate any more and have the run of the place. I just love to sit on my tree porch and talk to everyone. Then when my shelter moms come in, I know it's time for lots of love. When they finish their chores we all get special treats. The minute I hear the plates come out or someone says "Who wants Party Mix" - I'm right there!

Even though they love us here and take great care of us, I'm hoping that someone will choose me to be their best forever friend. Do you think it might be you?

Jesse is an absolutely beautiful 14 month old marble tabby! He's got a sweet and loving disposition. He loves to play with other cats and any toy you give him - including you!.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $50 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties
