Josh-Pending Adoption's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Josh-Pending Adoption's Story...
This is Josh, a 5 month old 30 pound Rott mix. He will be available for adoption and waiting a new home on Tuesday, January 5th. It is hard to say how big he will be not knowing if he is full breed rott or a mix. But I am sure he will be over 70 pounds. His tempermant test showed he was good with other dogs, people and didn't even mind cats. The staff has been working with him on a leash and said his leashing training was going very well. He has not been around small children, but his tempermant did not show any signs of aggression with people or food. The staff said he is very calm and a little shy.

Josh is coming up from a high kill shelter in Illinois and will be vetted this weekend. Josh's adoption fee includes up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, fecal tested, neutered, Bordetella vaccinated, Heart Worm tested, microchipped, temper tested with results, rabies vaccinated, and a free 30 minute evaluation with a certified dog trainer at Petco in Bolingbrook all for $300.00.

We are taking pre-applications now, and appointments are first come. If you would like to complete an application for Josh, please email sspratl@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josh-Pending Adoption, a Naperville Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
