Buck's Story...
Buck is an adorable 12-week-old black Lab-mix puppy who seeks a loving family and home. This guy is so very cute, fun, sweet and playful! He's very smart, learns very quickly, and has assimilated very easily into his life with his foster family. Buck is a very happy, confident little guy with a great personality who is looking for a family who has time to spend with him and train him like all puppies deserve.

Buck is vaccinated and dewormed and will be neutered and microchipped prior to or upon adoption. His adoption fee of $350 helps support our rescue dogs. To meet and potentially adopt Buck, please call 244 678 5740 and/or email houndhaven@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buck, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
