Ray is a long, tall boy who sings for his supper. He is not a constant talker but when he has something to say, he does love a good listener! He loves to hear you talk as well, so the conversations are fun!
Born in June of 2005, Ray has matured just enough to be well-mannered but hasn’t lost his “inner kitten.” He loves people but is not so crazy about other animals. While not aggressive, Ray has made it clear that people are his favorite – other cats or dogs are not.
Ray is a big love who simply adores attention, affection, and lots of pets! He has perfected the art of bopping his head against people for required love and attention time. For such a big boy, Ray has a soft purr that he can’t contain when he’s content and pleased. He is a very gentle boy who is looking for companionship and a loving home
Ray, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you are interested in meeting Ray, please fill out the
"I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.
Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
