I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Fluffy is a beautiful and playful longhair tabby that looks just like a Maine Coon. He was born in December 2006, but he is one very playful 3-year-old. We think he is the perfect combination of well-behaved adult and playful kitten!
Among Fluffy's favorite toys are his feather wand and crinkly cat tunnel, but any toy is ideal if you will join in the fun with him. He likes to have a bit of playtime each day, and to reward you as a playmate he will entertain you with his extraordinary gymnastic abilities. We call him “The Flying Squirrel” because he flies through the air with all fours spread out as he chases his feather wand. With his long golden brown coat flying, he bears quite a resemblance to his nickname.
During quiet time, Fluffy likes to be held and sometimes rocked like a baby in your arms. In addition to cuddle time when he’s awake, he is also happy to snuggle on the bed at night. Because Fluffy’s fur is long, he does require some brushing to keep it silky and manageable. He is quickly learning to behave like a good boy while he is being groomed and he is also quite tolerant of having his nails trimmed.
Fluffy had a hard life on the streets for quite a while, but is quickly beginning to love the pampered life as an indoor cat. He is adjusting well to his new life, and seems to be looking forward to finding that special someone just waiting to give him the attention and love he deserves. Fluffy is quite easygoing but he would prefer not to share his people with any other cats.
Fluffy, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you are interested in meeting Fluffy, please fill out the "I'm interested"

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
