Kipper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kipper's Story...
Kipper is a very sweet young Hound mix that was rescued as a pup. His tongue is all black and the vet thinks he may be mixed with Sharpei or Chow -- this would explain his protectiveness over his home.

Kipper needs a calm home with minimal activity of company/strangers coming and going. He bonds quickly to his owners, but seems very uneasy with company.

He absolutely loves to be around other dogs. He does chase cats, but will stop if told to -- he only wants to play with them.

This boy is full of loving play and affection, but needs that special home that will understand his personality and needs. He enjoys going for walks and greeting people at Petsmart. He can be a little timid in new situations but the more he is exposed to them, the more use to it he gets, and the more confidence he has.

Kipper is current on shots and heartworm prevention. He's house trained and knows some basic commands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kipper, a Cedar Creek German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cedar Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cedar Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
