Lola's Story...
Hi! I'm Lola, an adorably silly 2 year-old Black Lab mix. I'm in desperate need of a loving home. I've been lingering here in my cage for too long and am beginning to think that there won't be anybody coming to save me. I need to live in a home with no children where I will receive my much needed discipline and exercise. I am such a loving and friendly girl but I need to be guided in the right direction to become the super dog that I can be. I am indeed a mouthy and dominant gal who needs to learn not to jump up but with time and patience this can all be worked on. I cannot even begin to tell you how much pleasure I take in gallivanting around the yard playing catch with the bally! I absolutely adore other doggies so if you have them I'd love to meet them. Please come down and meet my sugary self in person!

Act quickly to adopt Lola. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Huntington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
