Tom's Story...
Tom is a beagle mix (possibly Bassett). He and his brother Jerry came from animal control and we believe they are about 4 months old. They are the typical playful curious pups you would expect from beagle mixes. They are both a little on the shy side but coming around and Tom is learning to enjoy cuddling. He is the smaller of the two, weighing in at a little over 10 pounds and has short squatty legs. His body is liver and white but he has the typical brown beagle face. He will make a great addition to any family! E-mail us soon, these pups won't last long.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Greensboro Beagle/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
