Jimmy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jimmy's Story...
Jimmy is a gorgeous, purebred, dark chocolate male Labrador. He is about 2 years old, in great health, and has a great temperament. He is more of the English style of Labs, and has a shorter/stockier build, and a blocky head.

Jimmy is good with other dogs, okay with cats, and good with kids as he is not a jumpy dog. He is not a barker or a digger, and doesn't appear to be a chewer. He is an all around happy, sweet Lab! Jimmy appears to know some basic commands, and is okay on leash, but is a smart boy and will do well with training.

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Jimmy you can meet him during the week by filling out our online application at www.utahlabrescue.com or by coming to our adoption event this Saturday. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmy, a Provo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
