Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SHY KITTY WILL SLEEP WITH YOU EVERY NIGHT AND KEEPS YOU WARM. Because Ketchikan is a bit shy, she needs quiet home where she can get a lot of attention. Ketchikan is a lovely PUREBRED Seal Point Ragdoll, about 11 months old. Ketchikan did not receive adequate socialization as a kitten, so whoever adopts her must be willing to work with her to continue her attempt to become socialized. She does like to sleep with you, in fact on you, but you have to earn her trust first. She will take some time to settle into her new home, so her adopter must be willing to be patient..
We would like Ketchikan and Sasketchewan to go together, but they do NOT have to be adopted together.
Adoption fee is $175. Adoption fee for the pair is $300.
Who We Are:
We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process:
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.
Out of state adoption:
Merlin's Hope does NOT do out-of-state adoptions other than states contiguous to Texas (LA, Oklahoma, NM). All transportation MUST be provided by the adopter.
