My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LAP CAT ALERT! Nickolai is an awesome PUREBRED Flame Point Himalayan with a major smooshed face. He is so cute. He loves to rub his cute little smooshed face on you, and his little pink tongue hangs out just a little bit, making him just too cute for words.

We were told by his owner that he must be on premium foodas he has food allergies; he is also underweight and must have canned food several times a day.

Adopters must have Persian/Himalayan experience.

Adoption fee is $175.

Who We Are:

We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.



Adoption Process:

We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.


Out of state adoption:

Merlin's Hope does NOT do out-of-state adoptions other than states contiguous to Texas (LA, Oklahoma, NM). All transportation MUST be provided by the adopter.
