Buckwheat's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Buckwheat's Story...
This little 10 month old pit mix was rescued from a shelter that will not adopt out pit bulls. Buckwheat was very skinny when we first rescued him, but now he is in a great foster home getting the love and care he deserves! He's a little guy, weighing just 30 lbs. He is such a good boy; he walks nicely on the leash, he's good with other dogs and ignores cats...he'd much rather sit in your lap! He's very cuddly and so sweet and also very laid back for a dog his age. He is the type of dog that does not need much exercise and would much rather snuggle with you on the couch! He adores everyone he meets and is good with kids, as he is a very polite little guy. Buckwheat is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and looking for a good home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buckwheat, a Reisterstown American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
