Shadow's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Shadow's Story...
Shadow is a 7-year-old Lab who we think is mixed with Shepherd. He is a very, very nice and mild-mannered boy who knows how to walk well on a lead and knows how to sit on command. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to be around people. This is a wonderful and deserving older guy who needs a forever home.

Shadow is in good health and has a great disposition and is very well behaved. He enjoys longs walks and gets along great with all his canine friends. Shadow is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on preventative and also micro-chipped. He can go into any type of home as he is very comfortable and gentle with all people. Shadow has been very well socialized with men, women and older children, although he would not be good with cats. If you can give this wonderful Lab mix boy a new forever home, please complete our online adoption application and request him in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Salem Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
