for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

TOBY's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

TOBY's Story...
Toby is a neutered 5-6 month old kitten. He loves to be cuddled & also likes to play. He comes with his own scratching post which he loves. He gets along well with the foster mom's 5 month old female kitten. He would make a great family pet. Toby's foster family would like to see him go to a home where there is another cat & also with people who spend quite a bit of time at home. Arrangements can be made to visit Toby in Nanaimo. If you think you can provide this kind of home please e-mail or phone Barbara at 1-250-947-9404 in Parksville.

An adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TOBY, a Nanaimo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
