Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blossom is a beautiful Ragdoll/Siamese mix with a very sad backgrund. She was found at a feral cat colony in Lincoln, RI. She was limping badly and hardly able to move very well, how she survived is beyond me.
Here's what we do know. She was de-clawed by someone who is an abortionist as a surgeon. She had bone fragments and jagged bone edges. So, that's why she could hadly walk. BUT, she was unspayed. So, she had to be owned by someone who was breeding her. Why else would she be de-clawed but NOT spayed? I guess they were all done making money off of her and they threw her away like garbage or trash.
We have taken her to the vets, a good one by the way, and she's been tested, spayed, and had to have her toe/digit, completely amputated to relieve the botched job that was done on her. She also needs to have her other foot looked at too after these stitches come out.
Inspite of all that she has been though, she is sweet and loving. I am amazed that she doesn't hate people since they are the one who have used and abused her so b badly! But, Gd lovge her, she doesn't. She's so sweet and nice. Truly amazing!
We are taking applications on Blossom at this time. And, I am sure you can well imagine, we are looking for that very special home who will love her, protect her and keep her safe for the rest of her life.
Lord knows she's been though enough already in her short life. Hse's between 3-4 years old.
