Mango's Story...
Mango is a beautiful red merle aussie female who is playful, intelligent and active but loves to cuddle. She was owner surrendered and had been kept outside where she was not given the time and attention an aussie needs. Mango is learning to trust that she won't be yelled at or hit when she makes a mistake and is doing very well overall at becoming a properly mannered house dog. Mango is still frightened of strangers and needs more socialization which we are working on for her; she is progressing nicely and after her initial fear of someone, she will calm down and be friendly, wagging her whole rearend in typical aussie fashion. with encouragement, Mango could be a great agility or friebee dog and a fantastic family member. She has 2 solid blue eyes which are very striking on a red merle. Mango is double registered and her papers will go with her to her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Corryton Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Corryton, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Corryton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corryton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corryton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corryton paves the way for another one to be saved.
