Bonnie's Story...
2 WEEK TEMPORARY HOLD PENDING ADOPTION - - Bonnie is a 1 year old female fawn english mastiff. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm preventative. She is housebroken and kennel trained. She's a smaller mastiff and I don't think she will be huge and typey. Bonnie is very loving and is happiest when she is sitting with you on the couch, laying on you or putting her paw on your shoulder to give you a big hug. She will steal your heart within minutes of meeting her. Being still a pup... she does have lots of energy and still tends to chew if not watched and her attention redirected but she listens very well and wants nothing more than to please you. She does better with larger dogs but does OK with all dogs at outings to the dog park, She does great with small children (has lived with a 3 year old), but can knock them down and would do much better with older children to play with. Bonnie is in Houston, Texas. If you are interested in Bonnie, please fill out the adoption application at www.neomastiffrescue.com . Thank you for considering a rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Houston Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Houston, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
