Galahad was an orphan nurse mare foal we rescued when he was just a few weeks old. He was born with angular limb deformities and an umbilical hernia. He is now 3 years old this May. We have kept him through his rehabilitation & growing stage and he has become a healthy, normal, happy horse. Galahad stands 15.3 hands high. He is a black and white paint with American Quarter Horse lines. He has 60 days professional training and is a trail/kid horse deluxe! He is quiet and not a bit spooky. A been there done that horse who is very sweet and loves attention. Galahad is a special guy and is ready for his new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Galahad, a Old Fort Paint/Pinto/Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Paint/Pinto/Quarterhorse for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Paint/Pinto/Quarterhorse from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Paint/Pinto/Quarterhorse breeders who help with Paint/Pinto/Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
