Molly's Story...
Have you ever seen such a cute face? Molly is an 11 year old maltese whose family cannot keep her, so she is in a foster home waiting for someone who will love her for the rest of her life. This breed tends to live 14-15 years and you would have no idea that she is a senior--she is spunky and very healthy. Molly weighs just 9 pounds. She is house trained and kennel trained. Molly is a playful, active little girl who loves to go for walks and is used to a 30 minute walk daily when the weather allows. She is smart, obedient and easy to handle. Molly also loves to go for car rides. This precious little girl is looking for a home with adults or teens, no younger kids. She gets along with other dogs and has never met a cat. Molly is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. Her adoption fee is $150. Molly is spayed, had a full dental, is up to date on shots, heartworm prevention and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Osseo Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
