Teddy Bear's Story...
Hi there! I hope you are in the mood for adopting a sweet dog, like me, because I am looking to adopt a sweet and confident human like you!
My name is Teddy Bear, a 3 year old, 70 lb Chow mix who is as sweet as a teddy bear. I have a good temperament and great leash manners. I love exercise, so I want to take advantage of any opportunity to go outside for a walk, a hike, or a play session! Because I am an active young dog, I would do better in a house with a nice (and well-fenced) backyard. I'm just not a condo or apartment type of guy!

I am not sure about living with other dogs or children. No cats, though, please! I do not understand them. Familiarity with my breed characteristics would be a big plus. I'd like to be with someone who's experienced in working with Chows, and willing to give me the guidance and leadership I need.

I'm a smart dog, but I would greatly benefit from some higher education in the ways of Great Caninehood. So I hope you'll have the time to attend some training classes with me.

Even though everyone at MaxFund is great to me, it would just make my heart soar to find my forever home. I want to spend the rest of my life at the side of a loving companion.

So when can you come down to MaxFund to see me, hmmm? Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy Bear, a Denver Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
