Ruby's Story...
Ruby is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. She has come to Bombshell all the way from Detroit, Michigan where she was found wandering the streets severely emaciated and pregnant. She had very deep sores on her legs, probably from being kept confined in a small space. Unfortunately, she was too sick to keep her puppies but her strong will pulled her through and she has flourished into a beautiful loving girl. She has a goofy nature and bounces all over the place when she is excited. What Ruby is best at is being lazy and sleeping the day away. She LOVES kids and adjusts well to new situations. Ruby is currently livng in a foster home with another dog and is doing well. Will you give Ruby a shot at her forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Vernon Hills American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vernon Hills, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vernon Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vernon Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vernon Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vernon Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
