Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is an 8 year old chihuahua--rat terrier mix who lost his home when his mom went into a nursing home. He is in foster care and hopes to find his forever lap soon. Romeo is about the sweetest fellow you will ever want to meet. He loves EVERYONE HE MEETS and wants a soft place to hang out and someone to love on him. Romeo is very quiet and rarely barks, and is a mellow, low energy dog. He is house trained and kennel trained, though he doesn't need to be kenneled. Romeo is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $150 adoption fee only covers half his full veterinary care: neuter, full dental, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, grooming and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Osseo Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
