Patrick's Story...
If you're looking for a lovely-natured dog then you've found him! Patrick is an happy-go-lucky, handsome boy who is equally happy being on the giving and receiving ends of affection. A pleasure to have in your home, Patrick is housebroken, crate trained, isn't destructive and just lives to please you. He has good manners with other dogs, and he's even great with cats! He'd do well in a home with a female dog, or as a single pet, to get all the love and attention to himself. He's very obedient, very sociable and very ready to start his new life with a family to love.

Being fostered in Villa Park, IL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Peoria American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Peoria, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Peoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
