My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zelda is a charming gray tabby who was born in August of 2009. She is tall and slender and we suspect that she will always be on the petite side, although she is still growing.

Zelda has a lively curiosity about everything that goes on in the house and always wants to help her foster mom. She has lots of affection to give, and is a very loving lap cat.

Zelda plays well by herself, but would like to have a playmate (preferably another young cat like herself) to do all the fun things cats do together. She is also happy to play with people, of course! Zelda is cautious around strangers, but loves people when she realizes everyone is friendly.

Zelda had hip surgery in October of 2009. After her surgery, she has healed completely and does all the running, playing, and fun-making that she wants. However, Zelda would not do well in a home with young children since she needs to be handled with care and gentleness.

Zelda, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Zelda, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
