Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE 1/11/10: Emily now weighs 31 pounds and is about six months old, and should be about 50 to 70 pounds when full-grown. Her foster mom reports that she sleeps in her crate every night and does not make a sound until it is time to get in the morning. She is housetrained and is learning commands very well. Although she is sometimes wants to go a certain way, she is easily redirected with "no" and "back" when commanded. Emily loves to jump straight up in the air like a kangaroo, all four paws leaving the ground (typical terrier behavior) when she is excited! When she plays with her foster dog siblings, she holds her own, and is a very determined little girl! She loves everyone, especially children, and plays politely with them. Emily is good on her leash and stays close to her human leader, not pulling or resisting. Although Emily initially had low resistance to the cold New England weather, she is adjusting well and will spend hours playing with her foster siblings in the snow when the temps are around 30 or above, and loves to model her red sweater, as the new photo indicates!
1/1/09 Another update about Emily! "I went to visit a friend yesterday and her grandchildren where there. Two boys, 4 & 6. Emily was wonderful with them!! She was following them everywhere, lying down and wrestling with them - couldn't get enough of them (or them of her)!! " 12/11/09: Emily weighs about 25 pounds and looks to be a lab/pit mixr. Her face and legs are tawny and black brindled. She is a bit timid with new situations, but adjusts quickly and relaxes. She is definitely an "indoor" dog and plays well with other dogs. She is very outgoing with other dogs and has medium energy --she is not crazy active but can be restless if bored. In her mind there is no such think as too much attention from her human family. Emily is a super cutie!
12-5-09 These puppies are here! They are each about 30 pounds and getting close to 6 months. They are happy sweet playful puppies that will be great companions for a lucky family!
