MEET EMERILL....who will cook up a feast of love in your heart and you'll never be able to let him go! This absolutely adorable 7 yrs old, 12 lb (and very fluffy), tri colored, Shih Tzu was stuck in the Lancaster Shelter and each of the other EIGHT dogs in his kennel must have pee'd on him....because when we got him, he smelled like a urinal. PEEEE UUUUU. He was so matted around his ears, he scratched them bloody :(( His foster mom gave him a few baths and a blow dry and voila....he was a new dog! He's getting good food, good love and having a good time! Emerill is very laid back and happy, but was a bit unsure of his surroundings when he first arrived. He sometimes would wince when you first touch him. Now that he's been in his foster home for a while, he has turned into a different dog. He is smitten with his stuffed animals and toys and plays like a puppy. He still doesn't like your face in his face, so would not be a choice for kids. Someone was not nice to this precious little man. He does like to play with toys and is very calm and laid back. He is missing some teeth -- and we had one of his cracked canine's removed...but he does not act like a senior! Emerill's foster mom calls us every day to tell us, "I love this dog!!!!" You won't want this little guy to get away....he is precious! We believe he would be best suited in a mature home where "mom and dad" can dote on him and give him lots and lots of attention. His foster mom is in love....but can't keep him! He seems to be potty trained in his new home, but we never guarantee. Emerill knows the way to your heart....just give him a chance to show you!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
