"Hello! My name is Mimi and I'm a very sweet and loving girl. I've had kind of an in and out sort of life -- you see my previous owner was good too me, just I was forgotten about at times of her life. You see, once upon a time I was found as a stray...and I waited 4 months -- I was acutally found as a stray around the same time Layla was and we were very good buddies in the shelter. Well, one day Layla left, but the shelter worker did not give up hope and she kept hoping a rescue would save me...but low and behold, my owner showed back up! I was very, very excited, but then I was dumped again...and this time I wasn't going to be allowed to go back to my owner -- the pounds were tired of seeing me end up back over and over again. My owner wasn't a bad person...they took very good care of me and everything...I just became inconvienent I guess. This last time I ended up in the shelter, I was very, very scared -- I didn't know what was going to happen to me...but there was a nice lady there who had met me previously one of the times I had been dumped -- she made me feel much more comfortable and safer and she promised she would find me a rescue to save me...and that's when I came here! My foster parents love to show me off! I know how to sit, down, come, and stay -- I'm very, very smart...but I am also stubborn. I love to give hugs and kisses too when people let me -- I'm really just a big old sweetheart of a lover! I'm very good with my manners and I do like treats...but I seem to prefer love and attention : ) I am mostly housetrained...I am if you keep me on a schedule -- you see, I just don't tell you I have to go out...but my foster home has been working on this with me too. If I'm on a schedule and I go out like normal, I have no accidents! Isn't that great?! I will keep trying hard to learn that I can tell you I need to go out though...I know lots of people like that and I love it when people like me. I'm hoping that I will be able to find a home that will love me forever and not drop me off if I ever become inconvenient ... the rescue is promising that they will find the perfect home for me...and I'm waiting!
