BANJO's Story...
Meet BANJO, a miniature poodle/cockapoo mix, who is about 4 yrs old and weighs about 20 lbs.
Banjo loves everyone the second he meets them. No bribes required! He knows the command sit, and retrieve toys and gently lay them at your feet and wait for you to throw them again. He is excellent with other dogs and cats too.

BANJO is in excellent health and housebroken. He is just waiting for you to make him a permanent family member. He is currently fostered in MARTIN county. To learn more about adopting him, check out his webpage at http://www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?DogID=1245

Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BANJO, a Melbourne Poodle (Miniature)/Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Cockapoo for sale in Melbourne, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Cockapoo dog from a breeder in Melbourne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melbourne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melbourne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Cockapoo breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melbourne paves the way for another one to be saved.
