Quinn's Story...
Quinn is doing very well in her foster home. She takes just a little longer to warm up to people than to the other dogs. Once she gets to know you , she can be a snuggle-bug. She is doing very well in house training, and crate training, and basic obedience. There are still some fears that Quinn is working through as her previous humans must have been rough with her. She attaches pretty quickly to her humans but does need to get out and socialize. Doggie day care is helping her overcome her fears of "big bad humans".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Racine Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Racine, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Racine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Racine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Racine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Racine paves the way for another one to be saved.
