Cooper's Story...
UPDATE: Cooper has been adopted but two of his sisters are still available, Mara and Grace. Don't have pix of Mara online yet.
Cooper and his 4 sisters were born on 10-25-09. As of February 1, they are 14 weeks old. These little darlings are puppy mill rescue pups headed straight to a pet store of another puppy mill. We are proud to have the responsibility of finding superior homes for each of them. In the picture of the 3 of them, Cooper is the one with the swathe of white running up his face and head. The other two girls will be added once they are spayed. These pix were taken when they came home from their neuter and spays - that's why they all look kinda punky. Actually, they are quite active and playful. They are all between 2 and 2.5 pounds. We expect their adult weight to be between 5 and 6 pounds. None will be adopted to homes with small children or large dogs. This is not negotiable. It is not a safe situation for our pups or your kids. All are neutered or spayed, up to date on all shots, wormed, on heartworm preventive, microchipped and ready to be a very special companion to you. The adoption fee for each pup is $350, if you get two, the second will be $315.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a House Springs Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
