Emma's Story...
I am Emma, a cute Rottweiler mix of some kind. I have a short shiny black coat with light brown highlights (like my eyebrows and feet) I am a great size too, not nearly as large as a pure Rottie. I am a really sweet girl, I love children and I play well with other dogs but I would prefer a home without cats ( those pesky little things are just asking to be chased!) I am still a pup but I have already have a little bit of training, and I am crate trained too. Bring the family in to meet me, I am a unique little gal who sure to win you over. 8 months old-55lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes adoption supplies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Portland Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
