Courtesy Listing! - Edee is a 4 year old (August 2009) Pit Bull/Vizla mix. She is great with people and great with dogs. She knows her basic commands, is very well trained and is socialized with other dogs on a regular basis. Edee is very athletic and needs to be in a home with someone who will give her daily exercise and spend a good amount of time with her. She needs a leader who will keep her up on her training. She also loves to have a job to do - carrying a backpack on a hike, playing fetch, showing off how well she knows her commands. This girl will keep you motivated. Nothing is better than hiking or running next to her and having her look up at you with her goofy smile. She walks great on the leash, calm inside the house, and great in her crate. If you are an athletic/active person, and are looking for a dog who can be your partner and teammate - Edee is your gal!
Pit Bulls personalities are energetic, loyal, intelligent, fun loving, and affectionate. Pit Bulls require intelligent, responsible, and dedicated leadership. Because of the breed’s undeserved negative media image, human companions living with a pit bull have to be more careful and responsible than the average human dog companion.
