My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hola, my name is Amigo and I want to be your friend! I am a happy four year old basset and excited to live in AZ after being in a Texas rescue organization that shut down. The AZ vet said I was in great shape including weight is that is just right. I love to play with the Boxer at my foster home and I get along well with the other basset even though I beat him in all the laps around the house and yard. I am filled with curiosity and enjoy bones, toys and socks. I am housebroken and the doggy door lets me take full advantage of the outdoors - that grass is amazing. My foster house does not have any cats or young kids for me to tell you about but I am excited when extra friends come over to pet me and cuddle as I am very lovable. Not to brag or anything but I have shown up the other dogs when we take our evening walk. I walk at a good speed without pulling like the boxer and without meandering like the other basset. On top of that, I understand the basic commands and I am a fast learner. My foster family will really miss me but know that I will be a wonderful addition to your family, I promise to adore you.
