Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jay-Z came to AZBHR after a rescue organization in Texas was forced to close its doors. The biggest mystery to his foster family is why anyone would have given up this beautiful boy in the first place! He is such a sweet, gentle, healthy, playful, well-behaved and gorgeous basset. He is the perfect four-legged addition for any family that will give him the love he deserves. He is completely unphased by the 16-month old toddler running around his foster house, who takes great pleasure in harassing the dogs. He is doggie-door trained, and walks well on a leash. He likes to play with squeaky toys, and loves playing fetch with them and redistributing the toys outdoors. He gets along well with his foster brother bassets, but hasn't been tested with cats. The Texas rescue marked him "no cats", but there isn't any evidence to support that label. Jay-Z has no bad habits as far as his foster family can tell. His 5th birthday is in March, which is a great age... he still likes to play and go for long walks, but he is just as comfortable laying on the couch or the dog bed. He needs a worthy forever home to call his own. Are you his forever family?
